Tyra Oldham, Dr. Tyra Oldham,

The inevitable source the power is in the ability of letting
go

This release into the well spring-spirit, journey an
uncertainty

The infinite leap into faith- a void, the
unavoidable

Knocking around

The mental, pit against spirit, verse
body

Yin and pull of desire amongst a tendency of a certain
reality-the real to unreal

The quench to yearn

In preparation of the
learn

The paralysis of the heart, traction placed in souls by staring
into a reflection questioning why, who, how am I
here

Answers are in that wellspring, spirit,
journey--

Listen it’s speaking

Let me arise into this
morning

Let me go into this day with
love

Let me sing at every possibility until the day is
done

Let me smile at persons

Let me be all that I am

Let me encourage the encourageable and spark fire to the
discouraged

Let me lay my head in peace and be blessed for the day that’s
passed

Let my sleep be somber my body rest to arise again in
love

Living life, moving in rhythm the universe dances to songs of
time
Birth, death and
evolution
Quiet comes in dark
somber
Rejuvenation springs in energetic
  perfection
New generations given to
light
All remains are echoes and memories pushing on future
expectations

Walk in freedom
Clear your mind
Get free from the box that
traps
Thinking linear craving a loop
ending
You’re the chain and the creation of a mind
drain
If it’s art and called colors what will be the
truth
Truth is the reality of the internal
world
Open to interpretation

Hyped in techno-rhetoric filtered through mediums of
propagandistic politic to sustain the status
quo

The liberatory acts are minimized by sound bites that flood our
senses of justice, bureaucracy and
parity

A free mind
Removing the shades that protect and shield the eyes and shelter
the brain
Code blue
The heart has stopped a shock is
needed
Remove the hate, violence and
crime
Got a hand gun for a
dime

Today a child is born
Future undetermined what will the they of the future see on the
land of liberty
Peace and/or hate
We must choose for them
